It's a dead end for customers.I have mailed you and have been talking to your executives frm 3 days to get it resolved, yet I am her banging my head on a dead wall. a prime customer facing such issue, god bless normal customers.

So how did India do it? In India youth Leaders were parachuted from Boston and Dubai and some remained in Germany. Phase one is this build up of anger on a genuine issue. Initially Govt was adamant that Mr Pradhan would not resign. That snow balled anger and Instagram was the prime platform. The agitation spread to many cities. Alarm bells Rang . The indian govt acted in an intelligent & sensitive manner to address the main cause of angst. Mr Pradhan was asked to resign and remedial legislation & measures announced. Meanwhile Playbook went into phase2 with introduction of over 2800 Anti- social elements to attack police and introduce violence. Policemen were viciously attacked. In Nepal, Iran and Bangladesh rooftop snipers had been used to kill both police and students. That would take it to level next for action against all police and law and order agencies. The original aim was forgotten in build up to mob lynching, looting and arson. India tripped up the agitation by addressing root causes and not letting violence escalate. Sourav Das did try to challenge the Supreme Court order of no FIRs against students but certainly against the Gundas & gangsters. His defiance gave the whole show away. It was the familiar playbook in action. It was not designed to set India’s exam system right but overthrow a duly elected govt. Indian govt has exhibited the sensitivity of Self- correction & taken the wind out of the sails of this incipient movement.

Bull markets are rarely driven by smart money alone. Smart money builds the foundation. Dumb money builds the skyscraper.

Institutional investors, HNIs and seasoned investors usually step in when fear is high. They absorb supply, create strong bottoms, and build a solid base. They don’t create euphoric bull runs.

The explosive phase begins when retail “dumb money” enters, buying almost anything regardless of valuation. That’s what fuels momentum and pushes stocks far beyond fair value.

The current market is different.

Retail participation has cooled, but the smart money that would normally be accumulating aggressively isn’t showing up either. Capital is being diversified across global markets, multiple geographies, and alternative asset classes instead of concentrating in Indian equities.

That’s why we’re seeing weak breakouts, shallow follow-through, and 10–30% returns becoming the new normal instead of the outsized gains investors became accustomed to.

Looking ahead, there are only two meaningful triggers:

1. Ghar wapasi means return of smart money that rebuilds a strong market base.

2. A fresh wave of retail participation that starts buying aggressively, irrespective of valuations.

The bigger question, however, is this:

How attractive will Indian equities remain versus other opportunities, especially with capital gains taxes reducing post-tax returns, elevated valuations leaving little room for disappointment, and higher interest rates making fixed-income alternatives increasingly competitive?

Until that equation improves, expecting broad-based runaway rallies may be optimistic.
