This essay is my attempt to finally say it.

Almost 85% of it is born in the Ethiopian highlands, upstream, at the top of the slope, behind a dam Egypt doesn't control.

The year just before a glacier disappears, bring the most water. So communities expand, farms grow, Hydropower scales up. Right before the long decline sets in. We are living in that window right now and calling it abundance.

Everyone says #Gen Z picked #football because it's the "lazy" #sport, no thinking, just running.
It's the opposite. They picked the hardest-running game on the list, and other sports for the 2-hour version.
It was never about effort. It's about friction.
