It is absolutely astonishing what Israel has been able to achieve in the West in the last 24-48 hours.

First, they made the US announce they will give Saudi Arabia nuclear technologies and materials, only to then condition it on joining the Open Zionist Whore Program, aka 'Abraham Accords'.

Second, they passed a legislation in the House of Representatives in the US that will make the US military a subdivision of the IDF.

Third, they got France and the UK to support the expansion of the war against Iran, with both countries evacuating their diplomatic staff from Tehran.

Fourth, they installed a new puppet in Britain that immediately quadrupled the UK's involvement in this war: yes to use of British bases everywhere; a reported yes to participating in demining the Persian Gulf, and what looks like a general agreement to support the war effort in every way possible.

This is only the 5% of that we can publicly see; imagine all the other 95%.

We live in an entirely, 100% Israeli-made theater production. Every event and every news coverage have been carefully curated to advance Israel's ambitions.

The power that this country has, 3 years into the worst televised catastrophe in human history, is simply staggering. It is almost unnatural, almost supernatural (only it's not).

It also tells us that we're very close to the end. They are rushing like this because all the windows and doors are closing. They have to be visibly awkward, hasty and clumsy. They have to expose themselves.

The one power that won't play along according to the provided script is proving an insurmountable obstacle, and the whole house of cards is shaking, and soon will come down.

Israel's unnatural power over the West will be the doom of both. Because Khamenei and his people saw all this 40 years ago, and they prepared like no one ever prepared for anything (after milenia of civilizational self-reliance, independence, and dignity).

Thank you for your polite and respectful reply. I try not to engage with Twitter replies, but you wrote a long, well argued and I believe heartfelt comment, and I believe I owe a response.

You start with saying that “[w]hen Imran Khan came to power, Pakistan was drowning in debt, corruption, and hopelessness.” However, when Imran Khan left Pakistan was drowning in even more “debt, corruption and hopelessness”. Several federal ministers and much of Punjab government were knee deep in corruption and even Begum Sahiba herself was involved in such matters. Unfortunately most top Pakistani political leaders have exchanged undue favours with Malik Riaz and others and Imran Khan continued that sorry trend.

You then say “[m]any PTI supporters believe General Bajwa broke trust with Imran Khan and that powerful interests worked behind the scenes to remove him”. But you don’t say how the powerful interests also worked openly to promote Imran Khan for years and bring him to power. Why are the generals only “democratic” when they bring you to power and become puppets of “powerful interests” when they remove you?

You rightly praise Ehsas programme, Panagahs, and a focus on the poor. Full marks there. Sehat card, although it wasn’t properly funded, was also a great initiative as was the Roshan Digital scheme. The government’s handling during COVID was also immaculate.

But in our affection for a leader, we cannot just ignore or deny inconvenient facts. Imran Khan considered all his political adversaries as enemies of the country and was more than happy to jail innocent people. He kept Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, possibly the most honourable leader in Pakistani politics today, in the same jail cell where he is languishing today.

That said, Imran Khan is today the most popular leader and if and when he gets another chance of governing, I hope he adopts a more democratic behaviour and selects a team with greater competence and financial integrity.

Nothing I say above absolves the corruption we see today in the federation and the provinces or the fact that most of our governments are not legitimate in the eyes of the people.

History will not judge us or the last two decades kindly. But I hope events like May 9 and February 8 are not repeated in our history. With multiple crises brewing in KP, Balochistan and AJK, I hope the country’s leaders find the sagacity and courage to reach some understanding and let the country move forward. Pakistan Zindabad.
