Most picture book adaptations have the worst prose, but this one was pretty good! Varied sentence structure, still some soul. Beautiful illustrations. One major complaint

my hair & skin are so nice during pregnancy. i basically don’t have to wash my hair and it will stay clean for up to a week. my skin has no pimples & don’t use any special serums.

when i’m not pregnant i have hormonal acne & my hair looks greasy daily.

it’s not all terrible!

i wish more people w easy pregnancies would post about it, i hate that it's considered rude to tell anyone when you're having a good time doing something some people have a bad time with. it's good that people are different, it's important to hear about it

i only have one kid and i’ve put off upgrading our kitchen area for 8 months because i know it’s gonna cost like $700 and that’s with using pieces from ikea and amazon

for the house piece: idk if there is a 5 min hack but i do think you can make a lot of progress by working through one room at a time and identifying the easiest, cheapest, and highest impact elements to upgrade

I am a little embarrassed about my family's lack of style. kids wear mismatched stained (but clean!) clothes, the house is a mess with no art or design. but also I had 2 kids in 2 years so now is not the time? how do I avoid being super embarrassed. is there a 5min hack 😫

with 2 kids under 2 i do think this is incredibly difficult to pull off unless you take a few weekends per year to focus solely on simple home decor/design projects
