I was 13 when I began taking myself out to movies and restaurants.
Within no time, I started enjoying my own company, without depending on others to hang out.
This initiative by @district_india is totally valid and much appreciated!
Chandโs post about not being able to book a table for one hit home. Why should solo dining be so hard or frowned upon?
Table for One is now on District, across 30,000+ restaurants.
A small shift, but one that hopefully makes going out feel more inclusive, more freeing, and more on your terms.
Read this tweet in Church Street, where I saw couples holding hands and swinging bouquets.
Considering how empty I feel inside, I've given up on the idea of love. While this tweet seems assuring, I don't believe this will come true, but I'm happy to be proved wrong nevertheless.
saw a quote on IG that read:
"someday, all the love you've given to the wrong people will find its way back to you in someone who has waited their whole life for your kind of love".
Ungrateful folks are complaining and mocking Twitterโs algorithm because they liked a picture of Sydney Sweeney and are now being bombarded with her photos in their feed.
I went to a cafe to cool myself, and a couple seated in the next table was talking about someone who got on Tinder and achieved a body count of fifty in less than a year.
It's funny but unclear why the Universe puts me in situations like this.
Currently sitting in a cafe looking at another seat which is now taken (it's near the window, has sunlight coming in and a good view of the street) and blaming my decision making skills for not taking that seat when it was available.
