Absolutely amazing work by the NATLA creative team and the designers, you can literally see they love the avatar world so much. They really tried to bring the authenticity of it all. Like Lizzy says I would pay tons to visit these sets too!
@Im_a_nerd__ someone (comparing air sender's tattoos over the centuries) said the tattoos fell victim to minimalism. so i think making it as detailed as they can in the live action, does go a long way.
As an OG fan, I genuinely loved Netflix’s Avatar Season 2. They expanded stories, deepened characters, and added real emotional weight without rushing. They did the original justice and more. Thank you Netflix! Season 3 can’t come soon enough.#AvatarTheLastAirbender
i agree.
also, wouldn't having a layer of sand (even though thin) in an earthbending arena be inclusive of sandbenders as well?? aren't sandbenders a sub group of benders from the earth kingdom?
@KnightGambit theres a scene in TLOK season 2 where Bolin bends earth from beneath snow for eska and desna to walk on. i have to imagine its the same logic applied here for Toph's arena scene
As someone who grew up loving the original cartoon, I genuinely loved the changes they made.
We got to see more of Katara in action as the Painted Lady and more of Zuko as the Blue Spirit, both were absolutely slayin' it.
natla is fun when you dont have a bitch in your ear crying bc it didnt follow canon 100%. i actually enjoyed a lot of the writing choices they made with all the characters and the plot was soooo much more cohesive than s1
@mrdhimple@Fortune__ai I'm sorry, but isn't changing certain elements of the original the point of an ADAPTATION? y'all want this live action to replace the original, but it doesn't have to. it can as well be an interpretation of the original source material and not a shot for shot translation.
