It's not about the dangers of pregnancy, it's about getting pregnant at all. The chances of getting pregnant, even with fertility treatments after the age of 35 are low.

It's like planning to start saving for retirement in your 50's. You have a slim chance of being okay, some people will turn out fine, but you're better off starting in your 20's.
