the world was never meant to be this connected. humans were not meant to listen to opinions from people or care about events thousands of miles away on a daily basis everyday
it is destructive to our happiness. future generations will view social media the way we view tobacco
i have a prediction. in a year or two, we’re going to get sick of social media, sick of reels, sick of endless streaming content, and go back to reading books, playing outside, and savouring our meal in tranquility.

This morning I left the house at 5am for a 5 hour hike.

But when you step into real life with silence, sunlight, and stillness you remember what truly matters.
A warm coffee, the sunrise, a deep breath, gratitude for your family.
And banana cake with a quiet prayer.
