USAID Didn’t Just Back Ukraine; It Helped Build the Crisis, the Narrative, and the Cover-Up

USAID helped fund a revolution that set off a conflict responsible for thousands of deaths. The Maidan Revolution in Ukraine in 2014 led to nearly 15,000 lives lost, then helped lay the groundwork for the 2022 Russia–Ukraine war and more than 300,000 additional tragedies.

That raises the real question: what responsibility do US-funded programs carry when the operations they bankroll help ignite wars and destabilize entire nations? And it doesn’t stop there. The money sent into Ukraine was then funneled back into the United States to benefit parts of the Biden campaign.

USAID didn’t just fund these projects; it helped dominate the information space. 90% of Ukrainian media was funded by USAID, promoting war, shaping public opinion, and choking out independent reporting from the ground.

And this is still only the surface. USAID’s corruption goes much deeper. For years, it operated as a CIA cutout for funding covert action, regime change, and revolutions overseas under the cover of aid.
