Confident and secure people never find it hard to compliment or support others. It’s the insecure ones that feel threatened. A hand feeling threatened by the leg, the nose feeling threatened by the eye. We’re different body parts…
Maturing in Christ is knowing that God’s power shows up differently in different seasons of my life.
Sometimes it’s in public, and everyone can evidently see how blessed I am.
Sometimes it’s in silence. Where the power carries me when I faint. No crowds, no evidence.
When a ‘Job’ season hits you at some point and physical evidence that God has left you, piles up, with speed.
The only proof you remain with, that He has not left you, is not outside of you but inside of you. You JUST KNOW that He is with you.
That is enough.
God’s power is not reserved just for the glitz and glamour days.
God’s power is also reserved for your silent, dark and painful moments. Where no crowd is cheering. But He Himself is sitting with you, enlightening your darkness.
That, my friend, is POWER.
Your Refiner loves you. He’s not refining you to see you suffer, but He’s taking you through the process because He loves you. If you saw the end result like He has already done, you’d be much more cooperative than you are right now.
