romance that centers care and each other’s all-around wellness. blocking off time in our schedules to decompress, share space, travel, regular couple’s visits to the spa, dinner, free flowing conversation where we can discuss all of the things. no more playing around.
Trauma makes you tolerate a lot of mistreatment, disrespect, and shit you don't deserve. Healing makes you realize some people don't deserve to be in your life – no matter how much you love them.
Time will always reveal what you did not heal. Heal so you can recognize a genuine relationship with pure intentions when it shows up without sabotaging it.
Being in a healthy relationship has taught me that there’s no such thing as “this is who I am, take it or leave it”. When you genuinely love a person, you work on those toxic traits, you learn to communicate, you listen to each other’s feelings and encourage individuality
Introverts don't hate talking, they hate talking about stupid shit. How's the weather, how was your weekend, who won the game. Seriously, who cares. They don't give a shit. They like to talk about life. Growth. Mind. Deep kinda things. Ask them "what's the truth" then, they talk.
Nature is not in a hurry, yet everything is accomplished.
Slow down. Honor your pace and energy. Revel in the peace and calamity of divine timing. Attune to the rhythmic patterns of nature’s cycles, and notice how beautifully life responds to you.
Grief has revealed places in my mind and chambers in my heart that I didn’t know I had. It’s opened old wounds and exposed newer ones. I’m acutely aware of the placement, power & fragility of my heart. Somedays I can only gently place my hand upon my heart & whisper,”Sweetheart.”
I can’t speak to perfectionism and imposter syndrome to help others cuz I think both don’t exist and are lies created by white supremacy culture. I don’t abide by the rules of my oppressor.
I deserve everything I receive and having imperfections is a divine blessing. A human.
And when you pray tonight…pray for better days. You might not be feeling your best right now and everything seems to be out of place. Nothing makes sense, it seems like you’re losing your mind. It will not last forever, this too shall pass. Better days are coming.
shout out to everybody who’s unlearning the old habits that won’t serve them in their next chapter of life. letting go is difficult, counterintuitive, and disorienting. it’s also worth it.
Ownership matters! This #GivingTuesday, we are asking you to reflect on how business ownership can transform lives, communities, and our economy at-large! (and even this very platform 😉)
