When you understand that there’s nothing you can do to make a person (who is unwilling to see themselves as you see them) see themselves as more, you have to walk away and let life do it’s work…
Otherwise you become a casualty of someone else’s decisions.
Trust people to do what they’re capable of for no other reason than the fact that they choose to. Whether they minimize it or take accountability. Understand this is out of your control; make it none of your business.
"We suffer in the West a little bit from life dysmorphia. A lot of people think their life is terrible because there's kind of a hedonic treadmill — you get used to how great your life is. Life has never been objectively better and subjectively worse."

Lazy will talk you into leaving a great situation that challenges you to make less money and be mediocre…I thank God for growth (especially in uncommon places). 🙌🏾
