@LesegoMalapane1 Aowa ke mo Jese then abe morwalo waka? What I’m asking is will his life get back in order again? Otlo popa ka zaka? Business? C-suite jobs?
@Eaziboy26@_KayTheLame_ Well noted! Thanks for the correction. This story is similar to that of the two Masemola brothers who formed Ga Masemola and Ga Marishan. The BaPedi history is quite rich and somehow it continues to repeat itself - The Zion church being another example
@zelizeluzalo@_KayTheLame_ To think growing up O was never quite Swati enough for the siSwati speaking kids but I also wasn’t Mupulane, I found myself learning Tsonga and became fluent at it but I wasn’t Tsonga either. But who knew of emaMbayi? I myself had only heard my grandma speak of it and no1 else
@zelizeluzalo@_KayTheLame_ These are just all my observations because we really aren’t emaSwati nor are we BaPedi/Mapulane we are not even Tsonga but we share surnames with all three. A lot of words and phrases in all three dialects are shared.
@mavundlamgabi@_KayTheLame_ Yesssss this is exactly what we speak at home but due to the siSwati influence or dominance in our area we call it siMbayi and not (isiMbayi) owww Nkosi Yami I feel so validated and my grandma clearly knew what she was talking about. This truly warmed my heart, to belong!
@Eaziboy26@_KayTheLame_ I would like to think Setlokwa is a Sepedi dialect or derivative rather. I know people from Botlokwa, Ga Mphakane, Eslebeen, Makotopong and surrounding areas speak Setlokwa. However we learn everyday so I stand to be corrected
@Shoun_B@siphehlangu Owww is that what it’s called “color grading” I’ve been calling it “videography/picture quality”. Dammit it’s giving Nollywood 😭😭😭 I’m so mad, I’ve been crashing out !
@TshedzaPictures@etv@PhathuMakwarela@PhathuMakwarela please my brother do it for the underdogs man, get the videography/picture quality right. I’m willing to donate even ke (I know there’s no need) but I’m seriously crashing out!! 😭😭😱😱 Phathu kava ite zwithu zwa right please!!
