I'd be so grateful if you read/comment/share. First thing I've written for years since the increase in my vision loss (retinopathy), so hope it's not too shabby! *shy*
Inching closer to getting this new organisation for Diabetes Mental Health set up. Next step is a big meeting with those who have T1D. If you want to be involved please dm me your email address

@JacqThePsych@beatED Later: "I didn’t feel safe, and ultimately, despite pretence of being adept, they didn’t feel confident having me there...I am not the only one. I am not a lost cause or “too complex."' & that's just from blog 1! @beatED seriously?! :(
@JacqThePsych Opening of my 1st blog posted by @beatED (Nov)! "...when so-called experts... routinely furrow their brows and display perplexity, it’s easy to feel dismissed. Being pushed back and forth because nobody knows what to do with you is quite disheartening." Urmm, yeah *face-palm*.
#t1de is completely treatable with the right expertise. Not everyone has that. I wonder if the variability in outcomes across sites is reflective of this wider issue. And further how PPI was incorporated when NHSE were making the decisions about who got what?

@JacqThePsych@Kes_t1D_SW@DrRoseStewart@diabeticswithed *ahem* girl, if I don't hear about this you'll be in my bad books I am afraid. I miss DWED, it might sound selfish but I v much being a part of it and having a purpose to write. Lemme know okay, pinky promise?
Learning how to run away, not towards red flags, even if I feel I deserve to be treated badly b/c turning blame around onto myself is too easy.
Working on a blog about all this. Clearly i've too much to ramble about (yes i talk too much, so what?) #2025Lessons#2026Resolution
Being lonely is better than being used. Genuine friends uplift you rather than bring you down and take you at your best and your worst. The precious ones are the ones to keep. This year I am trying to break the cycle.
