things i’m trying to think abt to counter imposter syndrome:
• a fan got a “shizukesa” tat!
• i made a song w/ the artist who inspired me to start (sewerperson)
• i SOMEHOW am still 1k monthly on spotify mid-hiatus for over a year
• i have a very supportive community 🥲💕
i’m ngl i almost took my life earlier. i’m not doing good & i won’t be dropping any music for a bit again sadly
i wanna still create, so i plan on trying to write/record still when i can, but don’t hold it against me if i’m less active than usual
i almost relapsed with self harm yesterday bc it was a rough birthday, but then looked at all of the sweet amazing messages from both fans & friends. from the bottom of my heart, thank you all for being here & being so fucking supportive and wonderful and lovely. i love you all💕
@CrizzyWhite well so while i understand where ur coming from, it’s not really that misleading bc you ARE still allowed to profit; it’s just fair use with limited rights like a standard contractual agreement. w/ copyright laws nobody gets UNLIMITED rights to others’ creations via every channel
@CrizzyWhite we discussed all of this in my intro to mus industry class awhile back, but yeah in most situations “free for profit” has virtually always meant it comes with limitations bc it doesn’t (and shouldn’t) guarantee unlimited commercial rights/use
@CrizzyWhite honestly ion think for profit ever meant other plats 😭😭 i’m pretty sure it’s primarily bc 1. sc & youtube are way more lenient, but ESPECIALLY 2. bc ppl sadly will infringe copyright & directly/indirectly claim it as theirs which causes others who DID pay to suffer as well
proof that ppl care more abt someone being trans than that same someone doing actually BAD things smfh
“protect our kids” just only applies for when trans ppl exist ig
Hey everyone its taken a long time for me to finally post this, idk if i was just in denial or i felt the need to keep this to myself but i wanted to finally release the last song Heylee and I made together https://t.co/6DLBylJ13m
i’m realizing that as an artist, it’s OKAY to finish & drop songs from years ago even if you don’t loveee those old demos
it’s all YOU; ur just combining ur past & present creativity/ideas/level of skill into a singular creation, like a timelapse 🫶🏽🖤
