We had cancelled the tickets at the airport by emailing to the address provided by the authorities but we have not yet received refund or any response yet and it's been more than 2 weeks now.

Being a national carrier of India, this kind of sheer negligence and ignorance on behalf of Air India's customer service representatives was not expected. They have no idea about the latest rules and directives and people only get to know at the aiport which is very late.

We also recorded these calls just to make sure. However, on 22nd Aug we were denied boarding at the Mumbai airport being told that only 6hrs transit time is allowed. We had to return home from the airport and cancel all the further reservations.

On 22nd August 2021, we had an Air India flight booked from Mumbai to Abu Dhabi at 9:10pm. But the maximum transit time allowed for Indian passengers at Abu Dhabi airport was reduced from 12hrs to 6hrs just 2 days before our flight.

We had called Air India on 20th Aug to confirm this as our onward flight from Abu to Toronto was after 11:30hrs. The representative on the call told us that Air India has not received any such new directive and that 11:30hrs transit time will be permitted.

I have an Air India flight to Abu Dhabi on 22nd Aug and an onward Etihad flight to Toronto after 11hrs. I wanted to confirm the maximum transit time allowed for Indian passengers in Abu Dhabi.

I have a flight on 22nd August with a layover of 11:30 hrs at Abu Dhabi before my onward flight. I have read on your website that the transit time has been reduced to maximum 6hrs allowed. I have done my booking around 10 days earlier. Please advice me on the same
