My friend bought medicines worth 2,180 yesterday.
She scanned UPI.
Chemist Said: “UPI karoge toh 15 extra lagega madam"
She knew the charge isn't even supposed to start until 15 October.
Still paid.
Why?
Her sick child was waiting at home. She wasn't going to stand there and debate MDR rules with a chemist for 15.
This is the ground reality Nirmala Sitharaman doesn't seem to understand.
Govt can charge merchant 8 rs and announce 50 times that “merchant cannot pass it to customer.”
This is India.
Govt will take 8 rs from merchant and merchant will take 15 rs from customer.
Your Parliament statement won't be standing next to every QR code.
That's why stupid policies designed on paper become even worse when they reach ordinary people.
I noticed today that my X account has been unblocked by the official handle of Gurugram MLA @MukeshSharmaGG Ji.
We welcome this. But the issue was never really about a block or an unblock.
On 28 August, I questioned the “Badalta Gurgaon” narrative because the reality on the ground is very different from the picture being presented. Instead of an answer, I and our citizens group @CleanAirBharat were blocked.
What followed was heartening. Residents across Gurugram came forward with their photographs, videos and experiences. Many spoke despite knowing they too could be blocked.
Badalta Gurgaon is possible when #जवाबदेही is fixed because we care. In times of climate crisis and shortages, clean food, water and air, walkable streets, sustainable infrastructure and good governance are not unreasonable expectations of people and taxpayers.
These are achievable if we I mean the constitutionally empowered authorities deal with reality, not just reels or realty.
Four walls of a house cannot protect us from an unhealthy, environmentally unsustainable city.
Potholes, waterlogging, unsafe or missing footpaths, waste burning, dhool and dhuaan, tractors dumping waste wherever they please, malba hills, construction dust, reckless tractors and construction vehicles, poor traffic discipline, e-commerce delivery agents racing on pavements, single-use waste and garbage being dumped in drains and marketplaces -affect us every day, and have for years.
इसको बदलिए 🙏
We all know the present enforcement capacity is not enough and, sorry to say, we do not see the political will either. Sadly, the focus seems to be only on #HappeningHaryana.
Dear elected representatives @Rao_InderjitS Ji, @RaoNarbir Ji and @MukeshSharmaGG Ji please take these gross civic deficiencies to the highest levels and seek whatever support is required: @PMOIndia@cmohry
If the administration and policing system cannot control illegal dumping, waste burning, tractors operating with impunity and the wider nexus of vested interests and “mafias” everyone talks about, then bring in stronger enforcement, better policing and whatever higher-level expertise is needed -जरूरत हो तो Defence अधिकारियों की मदद भी लें on combating the civic crisis and pollution
Why should citizens continue to suffer because the system cannot enforce the law or fix broken infrastructure?
And Mukesh Sharma Ji waste is still being burnt in middle of Sadar Market on daily basis यह एक स्वास्थ्य अपराध है -clear public-health hazard and an entirely preventable offence.Please stop this प्रथा कूड़ा जलाने से गायब नहीं गिनता धुआँ फेफड़ों में समा जाता है 😔
Our lives, health and safety matter. Every family matters. That should be the priority.
Please let the work speak first. 🙏

Dear PM @narendramodi your colleagues in Haryana and Gurgaon are doing everything possible to ensure BJP doesn’t win Haryana next time.
Gurgaon is a global embarrassment. It’s a shame that despite it generating 70% of Haryana’s Revenue; being a BJP local and national govt; and such close proximity to Delhi; with tremendous visibility due to the halt of international companies present in Gurgaon; NOBODY CARES!
The corruption, incompetence and arrogance of State govt officials, local authorities, and BJP MPs is beyond explanation.
@PMOIndia
I have been living in Delhi NCR for more than 20 years.
In the mid-2000s, we used to see Kanwariyas walking on the roads of Delhi. They walked quietly on the side of the road and did not disturb anyone. At most, there were separate walking areas for them, with volunteers guiding them.
There were no loud DJs, no mini-trucks with people waving baseball bats, no fancy lights, no running on the roads, no highways reserved for Kanwariyas, and no flower showers from helicopters.
Back in my hometown, Bareilly, I had never even heard of this during my childhood. These things simply did not exist.
Cut to 2026. Now, Kanwariyas seem to get the highest priority on the roads of North India during these 15 days of Sawan. An office-goer paying taxes or a patient in an ambulance fighting for their life does not seem to get the same importance.
You have to change your travel plans. Schools are shut, offices ask people to work from home, and businesses lose customers. All this happens to accommodate people on the roads for these 15 days.
They seem to feel like the kings of the roads. They can argue with police officers, damage cars, and do whatever they want.
Unless ordinary people who suffer because of this government-supported event every year start raising their voices, nothing is going to change.
Problems with Ethanol policy can easily be solved within hours by just making few changes.
1. Sell pure petrol at current price for non compatible vehicles.
2. Sell E20 at 10% lower price for compatible vehicles.
3. Don't increase the ethanol percentage for next 10 years.
But this Govt won't do it because continuous power have made them arrogant and success in state elections given them a false illusion that public are with them anyway.
Police have arrested this cook who was preparing food in the kitchen of Hotel Flourish Stays, where the fire reportedly started.
Next, they should arrest the vegetable, grocery, and dairy suppliers. Had they not supplied ingredients that day, there would have been no cooking and no fire.
After that, they should arrest the farmers who grew the vegetables, the factory owners who produced the grocery items, and the cows that gave the milk.
Sabko pakad lena. Kisi ko mat chhodna. Except, of course, the officials whose job it was to inspect such establishments and flag safety violations before a tragedy occurred.
48 hours.
Trump has given Iran a 48 hour deadline to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
Or,
He will strike Iran’s power plants.
Iran has made something perfectly clear.
If their power plants are hit, Dubai’s desalination plants will be destroyed.
That means Dubai's residents may not have water for weeks.
Lindsey Graham said America will be using aggressive military force with a surprise.
Here's that surprise.
America and Israel will not be alone.
They will be with the UAE and Saudi.
Iran is officially in war with the UAE and Saudi.
That's why Iran has given a list of bridges in Dubai and Saudi.
They're planning something devastating.
Travelling on any of those bridges could be deadly.
All hell is about to break loose.
India doesn’t need robotic dogs. Or hundred data centres.
India needs clean water that doesn’t kill people. India needs clean air so people can breathe. India needs employment for the underprivileged so 80cr people don't have to rely on free ration. India needs more hospitals and schools. India needs roads that last more than a month. India needs trains that are clean.
First, deliver all this, then we will discuss AI.
Driving on Indian roads is very easy; you just have to be careful of:
1. Dogs.
2. Cattle.
3. Children.
4. Potholes.
5. Open ditches, sewer lines, manholes.
6. Non-standard speed breakers.
7. Wrong-side drivers.
8. Pedestrians crossing abruptly.
9. Someone suddenly emerging from a divider cut.
10. Drivers abruptly changing lanes.
11. Turning without indicators.
12. Thar, Scorpio, Fortuner, buses, trucks, tractors, irrespective of their driving methods.
13. E-rickshaws and auto-rickshaws stopping/turning anywhere, anytime.
14. Vehicles overtaking from the left.
15. Parked vehicles opening doors without warning.
16. Loose gravel dumped without warning.
17. Temporary barricades placed suddenly in the middle of the road.
18. Uneven resurfacing.
19. VIP vehicles honking behind.
20. Unmarked unfinished flyovers.
That's it.
The most painful part of taxes isn't the cost.
It's watching all the money you earned get wasted on corruption, incompetence, stupidity, and deviant ideology...
General Category salaried employees should be exempted from income tax. If the government cannot be fair in taxation, it should at least be honest about discrimination. You can’t demand equal taxes while offering unequal benefits.

Indian business people have no courage to speak openly about government policies. They stay silent to protect profits and power. They neither support nor criticize government decisions, even when their voices could matter.
@PMOIndia Situation of Sanitation is pathetic in Sector 45 Gurugram . Repeated requests to MCG has not yielded any results. Refer below link for thousands of pictures showing the current situation. https://t.co/691imAsyCl @cmohry@SwachhBharatGov@SwachSurvekshan
