@OmarAbdullah how long will J&K MBBS interns be ignored? While interns in other states demand 30000,J&K interns are forced to survive on just 12300
Same degree.Same work.Why this discrimination? We have been demanding justice since 2019. Do J&K's doctors not matter to your govt.?
More than a month, countless assurances, but zero progress on the internship stipend issue. The file remains where it was.
We urge Hon'ble @CM_JnK to step in. If ignored further, young doctors may be left with no option but to protest and withhold internship joining.
What can a student do with 12000 living away from home managing all the expenses. When we consider inflation, 12000 in 2019 is equal to only 8000 today. This is just plain financial exploitation.

1) Intern stipend hike in J&K ignored for years; voices allegedly silenced.
2) In GMC Rajouri outsiders reportedly enter labour rooms, threaten doctors, and still no FIR.
3) In GMC Doda animals roam inside hospital premises.
What is the healthcare system doing in J&K?
Again after repeated reminders to govt through, official channels, media, the exploitation of intern doctors continues unabated. Rs 400/day. The govt is even refusing to reply to our queries, let alone solve them. How long will this continue. Have u no fear of God? @OmarAbdullah
Medical interns are the backbone of healthcare delivery, yet the stark disparity in stipends is deeply unjust. Equal work deserves equal pay! We urge the authorities to look into this urgently and implement a fair stipend hike. 🩺💼
@JKMedicalAsso
MBBS & BDS interns of J&K have been raising the stipend issue since 2019, yet authorities continue to ignore us. Repeated promises, but no action.
Hon’ble CM @OmarAbdullah please stop ignoring the future doctors of J&K and resolve the stipend issue immediately.
It is unfortunate that students who merely raised their voice for enhancement of intern stipends are being questioned instead of their concerns being addressed seriously.
One must ask has demanding one’s legitimate right become an offence now? These young MBBS and BDS students are serving in hospitals under immense pressure, contributing to the healthcare system day and night. Asking for a reasonable stipend is neither indiscipline nor rebellion; it is a genuine and democratic demand.
Institutions should respond to such matters with dialogue and reform, not by discouraging students from speaking about their hardships. The issue here is not social media activism, but the long-pending neglect of medical interns in Jammu & Kashmir despite repeated appeals.
A society progresses when its youth are heard, not when their voices are treated as violations. Our future doctors deserve dignity, encouragement and fair compensation for their service to the people.

@RukhsanaNajeeb is trying to create fear among students for raising genuine concerns.
Government employee focused orders are being mixed with students issues & applied in a way that intimidates students for speaking on social media.
Why only GMCA.
Is she puppet of government?
Resolve the MBBS stipend issue ASAP. Students have remained patient for long enough. Don’t push this issue in a direction the Government itself will not like.@CM_JnK@OmarAbdullah@sakinaitoo@OfficeOfLGJandK
This is not a dictatorship! Everyone has the right to peacefully protest and raise their genuine demands within the ambit of the Constitution! I am sure the administration understands that the stipend being given in our UT is among the lowest in the country and genuinely deserves to be raised!
I request @RukhsanaNajeeb Sahiba to act sensibly and also request @DCAnantnag , @DrBilalbhatIAS Sahab to personally intervene in this matter!
@sakinaitoo
We strongly condemn the alleged summoning of two medical students from Government Medical College Anantnag after they made a video demanding a stipend hike.
Is asking for a fair stipend a violation of any norm ?
