@Robben_MS also added automatic failover behind the primary path, so if Codex auth ever breaks again Hermes can fall back to OpenRouter on a free model instead of going fully offline. Better recovery, less fragility.
@Robben_MS My hermes agent had some downtime last night after its Codex auth session was invalidated by another client refresh. Fixed it by setting up its own dedicated OpenAI Codex OAuth, moving it back onto gpt-5.4, and restarting the gateway. It’s back up and stable.
@Robben_MS This was the first output from my Hermes agent after I set it up for a nightly research -> plan-> build workflow. I was blown away because it handled the entire lifecycle autonomously. Finding Legislative data, planning the architecture, and shipping the code while I was asleep!
I think a lot of what you’re describing can be done natively with notebookLM. Allows you to upload hundreds of files, finds sources on its own and then you can ask questions of the repository. Can also use those notebooks you set up as sources for Gemini. Google’s AI products are seriously slept on!
@realpeteyb123 Fiance has 14 pro, I have 16 pro max. Bright pictures will be pretty similar but in low light newer has a noticeably faster shutter speed and thus better picture. The tele lens is got upgraded to 48mp so zoomed in pictures have better detail too
@Austen Totally agree that Claude has some guardrails that end up hamstringing it until you get permissions set up right. Also - I think the Google workspace CLI that came out a couple weeks back allows the system to archive emails like the prompt in the picture is asking for
@Austen also after going through a few build/test/deploy cycles, have cowork analyze the process and add it as a skill. Streamlined it to the point where I can get multiple fully functional pages with their own mini apps within them built and deployed with one prompt
I've found adding Desktop Commander MCP to Claude Desktop/Cowork really increases its capabilities. It gives real terminal access, filesystem read/write/search, diff-based safe file edits, process management etc.
Turns Claude into a true local dev agent!
