i need more moots!! i’m just a silly lil creachur that likes to play games and want to play with people :3
I’m gonna have a mini thread of games, shows, and music that I like so if you wanna ever play something with me or watch something or just be insane abt something, follow!
@SuddenlyPandas i feel that cs and valorant are games you play specifically to be competitive. those games are highly competitive in nature. cod is much more of a casual game that’s dominated by casual audiences. competitiveness should be set aside for ranked games not in regular queues.
@JordanB83393271@KamikazeKiwi4 i’m on kbm so it takes much more effort to get kills and it’s frustrating when i play against people who don’t miss any shots and is rewarded simply for using a different input than me. faster ttk levels the playing field. yes i miss shots, but that’s natural.
@OffendMeNowPls@MykstSarah@ItsJustAK__ 120 compared to 200+ fps is hardly noticeable gameplay wise. i’m running 90 fps on my computer… not everyone has $10000 computers. majority of pc players are also at 120 or MAYBE 144. average human reaction time is 200ms. 240 fps is less than 5ms faster than 120 fps.
@xtronplasma@JGODYT well, the next 2 games are likely gonna be slower ttk so ig cod is just a slow ttk game now. im probably just gonna move on from this series
@OffendMeNowPls@MykstSarah@ItsJustAK__ aim assist kicking in before someone’s brain can comprehend and adjust to changes is a massive advantage😭you can change ur sense, you can run ur game at 120 fps, macros are not allowed and those programs arent allowed either
@ItsJustAK__ the biggest problem of aim assist is that it gives inhuman reaction time… aim assist kicks in even before your brain can process changes. im fine with aim assist, but it should not immediately kick in and give jumping adjustments
@xtronplasma@JGODYT lmao i’m on pc… splitting the game in 2 would not work well. i just think it’s time for a faster ttk. it’s been 3 years and likely next year will be a slow ttk because of sledgehammer. the game wasnt designed for a slow ttk and now suddenly it’s entirely different
@xtronplasma@JGODYT as much as i’d like to see that, there’s no way that’d happen. splitting the player base and balancing the weapons for both modes would be a headache. that’s why i think ttk should be faster in this game. if people don’t like it, they can continue playing bo7.
@SythonSlays@vctrvallejo@_thww@charlieINTEL it’s an issue of both… bo6 and bo7 camping and playing slower was not very viable. you can still be aggressive in this game and you can play slow effectively. there should be balance. i think it was too far in the movement direction last weekend.
@vctrvallejo@_thww@charlieINTEL i want some movement and some ability to be aggressive, but that shouldn’t be the only viable playstyle. in weekend one, if you weren’t slide canceling into gun fights and around corners, you were at a big disadvantage. aim assist helps track wild movement by a lot.
@strahfe you shouldnt be able to laser beam people at that range… we’re too used to cod coddeling us with 0 recoil guns. the screen shake is pretty egregious tho i will admit. guns should be effective at medium range, not hitting every shot 80 meters out
@AyzenLr also we’re cherry picking here… ppsh just has a high amount of recoil to begin with. compare it to the ak or the m4 in this game. or find a higher base recoil gun in mw19, this is not an accurate comparison
@Phoenixxstrongg the vast majority of people on pc aren’t paying this kind of money and arent that good at the game… when the guy using his thumbs at 60 fps has an system literally tracking for him at inhuman timings, yes we would like the game to be fair.
@Vexonym_ the maps are too small for tac sprint… it ruins the flow of these maps when people show up to gun fights in 2.3 seconds off spawn. no tac sprint by default allows some breathing room which is desperately needed. recent years it has just been action action action with no thought
