I was born with sickle cell disease.
I had Crisis after crisis, constant pain, multiple organ damage by age 28. Doctors said I wouldn’t see 35.
During one brutal episode, I prayed like never before while hooked up to morphine. The pain vanished overnight.
Follow up tests showed my hemoglobin was normal. No sickle cells. Geneticists ran every test, markers for the disease had disappeared. I haven’t had a crisis in 4 years.
My hematologist calls me the walking miracle file.

Social battery being low ndochinhu chiriko manje. Are you saying that you guys are always in a sociable mood? Are you saying you never have days that you just want to be alone? You never have days where you go out and immediately regret it and want to be back home? 🫴🏾
In a relationship, let that man be the man. If you find yourself constantly having to make up for his inadequacies, you are better off just being alone cos you will lose yourself in the process and he will not Love you any better for it.
If he is constantly defaulting, leave.
POV - You decide to just abandon the job application coz they're asking for too much information and you already know it’s going to end in rejection anyway.
I tweet for me boo 😭 Twitter for the OGs was basically a diary. We wasn’t sitting around chasing engagement . You just had a thought, tweeted it, and kept scrolling. If somebody saw it, cool. If they didn’t, oh well 😂 Twitter originally wasn’t even about likes like that. It was just people broadcasting their random ass thoughts into the universe.
