VIDEO | Dr Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal officially assumed charge as the Director General of Police (DGP) of Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday. A general meeting was convened at the Police Headquarters following his assumption of office.

Addressing the media, Dr. Jamwal said that upon joining as DGP, he held an interaction meeting with senior officers of the Police Headquarters and Superintendents of Police from various districts through video conferencing. He added that separate meetings with senior officers would be conducted in the coming days to discuss departmental issues in detail.

The DGP stated that the interaction meeting aimed to understand the challenges faced by the police force in matters related to crime, law and order, security, and other policing concerns in the state.
