@stanleywaite1@theoztrucker Lol my husband works in trades and often gets contracted out to homes like this in inner brisbane city. They are EXACTLY like this, plus needles, cockroaches, pet shit on the floor.
@MorningHopium@realRick_AUS Yup this is true. I grew up in small mining towns, my mum worked in scheduling trades to repair homes. These people would constantly destroy their own homes, even as far as ripping out their toilet and shitting on the floor instead.
"I have nothing against the Pope...I'm not fighting with the Pope.... The Pope can say what he wants, and I want him to say what we wants, but I can disagree. [...] I'm sure the Pope is a great guy, I haven't met him."
Pitch-perfect example of how political rulers should handle disagreements with spiritual authority—much to the dismay of those would love to drive a wedge between President Trump and American Catholics, most of whom voted for him twice!
Woe to those who manipulate religion and the very name of God for their own military, economic, and political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth. #ApostolicJourney#Cameroon https://t.co/bKteFZ3iWE
@SamanthaRedeemd Usually our fathers or hail marys. Often praying for a virtue, or for others. My worst was 20 our fathers, man did that take forever because I kept going to pray a hail mary right after as if I was doing the rosary lol
@CatholicCharm@WorkforLife3 Crazy, canon law states that babies should be baptised within the first few weeks of life (Can. 867)
This feels like a lot. My parish only offers 1 class for infant baptism
