I’m gonna quickly breakdown three reasons why this prop will hit:

1. Kevin Durant might be out 🩼

The Durant knee situation is a bit fishy nevertheless he might be out for game 2. Which means more shot opportunities for Tari Eason. If KD is out I can see him starting due to him attacking Lakers defensive weakness of allowing shots around the basket. They’ll need some scoring with LA focusing on Reed Sheppard (never thought I’d say that), along with bringing toughness and intensity something that’ll be desperately needed in this one.

2. Momentum continues 🔥

Let’s say KD plays then you’ll see the Lakers force the ball out of his hands. Expect blitzes at the top of the key right away which means guys like Eason/Okogie/Thompson to get more open looks. First half he was scared to shoot not attempting a single shot. However ended up scoring 16 points on 7/7 (100%) from the floor. Down 1-0 expect the minutes to shrink for Okogie given to Eason.

3. @ChalkboardHQ MoneyBall Card 💰

I never do stuff like this but this is an amazing feature (no this is not a paid ad). Every 3pt shot counts as 4 points, Eason last game shot 2/2 from three meaning this prop would have hit based off that alone. The value is too good not to take this. Let’s not forget Eason was a 46% 3pt shooter before the All Star break. Even if you don’t place this on Chalkboard I like the prop for reasons listed above !
