our newest distribution center hasn’t been shipping out product as efficiently because they switched over to an AI OS and the system isn’t working so hundreds of locations are seeing freight discrepancies while inflation is causing customers to skip the visit altogether🤣🤣🤣🤣
@tedcruz Ted Cruz lecturing California on energy policy is wild coming from a guy whose state power grid needed a GoFundMe and a space heater.
In Texas, gas is cheap, but electricity is seasonal.
Don't worry Texans, when things get tough, Ted runs to Cancun.
Let me trace the timeline here because nobody's connecting it.
Step 1: Scrape the entire internet. Every book, every article, every conversation, every piece of art, every forum post. Do it without asking. Do it without paying.
Step 2: Train a model on all of it. Call it "artificial intelligence."
Step 3: Go to BlackRock's Infrastructure Summit and announce: "We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter."
Step 3 is where you sell people's own knowledge back to them. On a meter.
They took the collective output of human thought, compressed it into a model, and now they want to charge you by the token to access a version of what you and everyone you know already created.
One Reddit user put it perfectly: "They stole all this data from us, the people, our life's work, creativity, art, by devouring the internet and blowing through all copyright laws. Now they want to sell it back to us in the form of a utility."
Imagine if someone photocopied every book in the public library, burned the library down, and then opened a subscription service for the copies.
That's the metered intelligence business model.
And they're pitching it to infrastructure investors as though they invented water.
Many rural areas still use this for their jobs around town. It’s the only way anyone can survive. When I had my small business I started the employees at 10 only because I worked hard before hand to get my numbers down and accurate for bids to ensure this was possible. Not all small businesses have that same ability. I always look at it like this as I’m shopping, I am paying people 10 per hour to work, from that hour of labor what can they afford? Two gallons of fuel. One carton of eggs, a gallon of milk? So on so forth. The price tags all around us have skyrocketed, while more entry level jobs have remained. I employed many young adults who attended college and many single parent families. It’s a battle out here just to make rent, let alone the daily needs any living person needs. We must have change or the homeless will increase. Walking into a fast food joint seeing only two people on staff in the back while using a computer to order furthers this conversation.
this is funny because if they are making that much, folks against the SQ tell them to get a different job, which negatively affects small businesses just as much as raising the minimum wage “would”🤣🤣🤣🤣
@EthanLevins2 When the world’s strongest nation keeps flying across the globe begging for trade deals while Xi sits at home waiting, maybe the power shift already happened and people just don’t want to admit it yet.❗️😂💯
The parents of billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos have deep ties to Robin Hood, one of Wall Street’s favorite local charities. https://t.co/wpBB9kNIzW
