Students are devastated after two student leaders from Rohtak issue a video and a copy of original handwritten question paper made by the makers went viral on 6th July. The PDF creation meta data shows 30th June 4:08am and the exam was held on 30th June 3pm. This has created severe moral panic raising doubts on how the original paper copy was found and where all they have gotten circulated. @NTA_Exams@ugc_india please take cognisance of this matter and issue an official statement asap on what are the aspirants supposed to do now? If there is any truth to such severe allegations then please let us know. We all are helpless and broken at this point.
The sheer audacity to say that it has not come across any issues and that the questions will be dropped if students challenge them. Okay. Challenging a single question takes Rs. 200. So first make sure a paper is made with 50% errors then expect the very students to pay and ask them to rectify? So this is how challenge works. We need to provide proof for each (wrong answer) error by providing a valid textual reference. Questions are dropped once in a blue moon when answers are wrong. How are students supposed to point out spelling errors, basic grammar errors and most important translation errors? So now students will pay for each question. (Close to approx 50 MCQs). As per NTA, if questions are dropped the challenge amount will be refunded. Now here is the funniest part. Most of the times the questions do not get dropped. Last Jan ‘26 two questions remained unchanged despite major error. What a profitable business model! You don’t need a subject expert to identity massive proof reading lapse of the papers. Does NTA not even have a committee for basic proof reading? How can a paper like this be passed ?? @NTA_Exams@ugc_india@EduMinOfIndia
Didn’t think I would have to reopen X after this long for something this pathetic. The recent NTA NET Sociology exam held on 30th June’26 crossed all limits of academic deceit and accountability. Not even getting started on the irregularity of the paper asking AI generated questions, random thinkers and books not even remotely associated with the syllabus provided. This is where the last nail on the coffin was comes. 50% of the paper had terrible spelling errors and grammatically disastrous sentence formation. Thinkers like ‘Ritzer’ was replaced as ‘Putzer’, ‘social’ was given as ‘oval’, ‘Parsons’ as ‘Parsow’, ‘Ghurye’ as ‘Ghunye’, A R Desai as ‘A K Desai’, ‘Nussbaum’ as ‘Nusbaut’ and many more. The Hindi translation of the questions were framed as if translated by a 5 year old. Students could not even understand the questions, let alone attempt them. Half the time went in literally making sense of what nonsense was scribbled in the name of a paper like NET which is literally supposed to make you eligible for Asst Prof/PhD admissions. Is this some joke? Call the profs who framed this paper to sit and attempt. @NTA_Exams how low are you guys willing to go to make Indian Higher Education drown? We cannot at any cost accept this paper. @EduMinOfIndia@ugc_india
@Akanksha_Econ@BhavyaS95 This is a shameful act of perpetuating exploitation in academia. What is this if not epistemological Violence? Literally paying daily wage for a full days work of collecting data only for these universities to rip off research that is produced out of people's experiences.

@plbmagazine’s sixth issue arrives at a moment of deepening capitalist repression and global fracture. From the persistence of socialist sovereignty in Korea to the catastrophic violence of capitalist restoration in Eastern Europe; from the afterlives of failed revolutions to China’s refusal of “historical nihilism”; from internationalism in practice to the necessity of creativity in dark times—PLB6 confronts the crises of empire while insisting on creative endurance and the practice of liberation.
Original scholarship from Gerald Horne, @tonyjballas, D. Musa Springer, @derekrford, Ted Reese, Kyle Ferrana, @pawelwargan, and Nolan Long. Revolutionary art from Red Bait, @EarthStvdio, Color Collective Press, and GQ. A design language from artist and editor @phdirtbag drawing on moody Soviet minimalism—concrete cracking, grass rising, cityscapes in shadow, and lights shining out from nighttime windows.
PLB6 reminds us that to make is to resist; to create is to remain unbroken and autonomous.
It reminds us that in darkness, creation and liberation continue.

VIDEO | Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao alleges a Rs 5-lakh-crore land scam in the Hyderabad Industrial Land Transformation Policy (HILTP). He says, “In 2022, in one specific industrial area called the Azamabad Industrial Area, we brought in a Bill, saying that the original allottees of the Azamabad Industrial Area, if they wished to convert their land into mixed use, would have to pay 100% of the SRO value again... Because today, if you think about it, in Hyderabad this government cannot find a single square yard of land to build a house; in two years they have not been able to build one Indiramma house.”
