Hello guys .. I am grateful to every person who checked on me and asked about me during these difficult times in Gaza. I apologize again because I cannot respond to everyone due to the lack of internet. I can barely pick up a signal to turn on Esim.. I want to reassure you that we are alive, but we are not well at all. Everyone is watching and seeing the atrocities we have been experiencing since October 7. We feel like we are in a terrifying nightmare that began on October 7. I hope from the bottom of my heart that we wake up from this nightmare..
Sadness took a lot of feeling from our hearts until our hearts became hard as stones..
The end of sadness is either joy or destruction. No one knows how the end will be..
I have always rescued animals. But now I need someone to save me...
I have escaped death several times... and after many months of suffering, I discovered that life is not for everyone... and who knows? Maybe there will be no depression tomorrow, maybe I won't exist tomorrow.. I was hoping someone would save me..
My dear friends.. As you can see in the news reports here in the north, no aid enters... and famine begins to sweep Gaza... I personally lost 15 kg of weight due to malnutrition since October 7. Unfortunately, we are sadly forced to buy from the black market. You can't imagine how difficult that is.. The most important commodity is flour. Its price was $15 for a 25-kilo bag. Now its price has become $400. A kilo of rice was $2.. Now its price is $15.. A kilo of sugar used to be one dollar, now its price is 11 dollars. A liter of oil was $2. Now its price is $7. Canned food, such as beans, peas, and chickpeas, used to cost one dollar. Now it costs 5 dollars. Vegetables such as potatoes, tomatoes, and onions were $1 per kilo. Now they are $7. This is of course after a complex process of searching....
Of course, finding fruits is such an impossible that we have even forgotten their taste
I am personally lucky because I have a well in my house.. but there is no electricity to operate the pump to extract water from a depth of 52 meters in the ground.. so I have to rent a generator and buy gasoline from the black market for $15 per liter in order to get water..
I spend a whole day every week extracting water from the well, which is enough for me and my family for a week. Today, I have to pay $100 for water alone...
I also feed the cats at the shelter and give them special care. I will never leave them. There are emergency veterinary expenses that I have to pay immediately.. Unfortunately, everything is ridiculously expensive.. I know this is embarrassing, my friends. I feel embarrassed to say this to you. But I am really suffering, my friends. This is the second update..
I was able to find food for the cats with great difficulty. I bought a lot for them even though the prices had doubled.
Because of your generous support, I was able to buy extra food for them, enough to last until the beginning of February.
I made a hard effort to get to the place that sells cat food.. I went under fire to get there..
I could not find a car to transport all this quantity. I had to transport it using manual carts
In this mission, I was exposed to a lot of danger and hardship... but my duty towards those cats made me ignore all the danger...
Until now, I have not been able to buy anything additional for me and my family. We have enough until the end of the month.
I was unable to obtain any of the humanitarian aid that entered during the truce period, because what entered was not enough to provide all the residents of Gaza
