@EE I just upgraded my mobile plan to give me unlimited data. Although it appeared to work, when I log in to My EE it shows the correct plan name but tells me I have only 40GB available.
Is there a way we can sort it without me waiting in a long queue to 150? What should I do?
@paulanthonywils Aye, I was close to picking up the phone but the thought of being on hold was making me drink coffee, fold socks and generally feel existential dread! Couldn't be happier with their Twitter interaction here!
@paulanthonywils I'm completely stunned! It felt like a total longshot but it has been the best customer support I've had from anything for a long time!
@HMRCcustomers Final related question. I see that last year that I mistakenly entered the rent a room income in that box (was again under the threshold), meaning I was taxed on that income.
If I want to fix that, as above, do I just amend that one box? Is that all I need to do to re-submit?
@HMRCcustomers Thanks for the help. I'm a little unclear what you mean though. So, since my rent a room income is below the threshold, I should simply enter zero in the "Total rents and other income from property" box (online SA)?
@HMRCcustomers Under SA, when claiming rent a room relief and under the tax-free threshold, should I enter rent received under "Total rents and other income from property"? Doing so makes the rent appear as taxable income in my summary :/
