@HukAleksandra I was thinking the same, making some assumptions a gross salary of Β£2000 per month attracts approx Β£870 in various taxes, making assumptions of sensible living, such as Inc tax, NI, Council, IPT, various VAT's π€ about 44% total. Where does it go??
@PopOffQueenOrNo@phlekso@KnomadicZekrom @lostlondongirl @punkywozza @Weeton64 I could be wrong but I believe it's the Bering land bridge theory, which does have some evidence to support human migration patterns from Asia
@elonmusk It wonderful to see open dialogue, conflicting views and debate. Yes there are unsavory statements and words, but that is reflective in society too, is it not?
@L__Macfarlane The bit your missing is that the gas we use is imported, which therefore increases cost to produce electricity. Blinkers prevent you from seeing the bigger picture.
@campbellclaret But what is your point here? Do you genuinely believe that people should not like the fact you can expand wealth? EVERYONE has that opportunity in life. Opportunities and choices, two very simple words entirely in the control of an individual.
@elonmusk What further compounds this is rather than releasing convicted criminals, the state could of-
1. Invest build more prisons
2. Create jobs in infrastructure
3. Create jobs in maintainance
4. Create jobs in staffing
Responsible tax spending, that keeps the public safe.
