@Grummz For a game trying to depict a somewhat realistic feudal Japan, reflecting real life to a certain extent is exactly what I would expect. If you don’t like that, it’s fine, but you’re dismissing its historical drama context and comparing it to full on fantasy games

@YorchTorchGames Ghost of is about a historical period represented in a way similar to what spaghetti westerns did, which pretty much fits. Setting the actress’ actions aside, the depiction very much fits the genre they’re going for

@panchasplanchas @LadyAmethystia Yeah, in the overworld, I hit it pretty consistently, as long as the green dot is kinda close to the slot, it doesn’t need that much precision, but to do in a fight is another beast, and not even really useful.
The piercing one has been the best so far imo

@panchasplanchas @LadyAmethystia The combo one is fun on paper, but for some reason it locks you out of dashing ( and maybe jumping? ) until the combo timer runs out…
Also, most esselings die in 1 hit or straight up ignore the combo

@MidgarBloom @SasukaRH Yeah, but the stories in Love Nikki and Shining Nikki were really good, and Nikki had an actual personality, compared to what she quickly becomes in Infinity Nikki.
How could they squander such good storytelling ??

Online game communities are essentially like countries: full of great people, but also full of toxic and annoying ones.
And I don’t want to deal with that to enjoy my game

It already felt pretty greedy at the start, that’s why I never spent much money on it, and only spent when I felt like the game actually had deserved it.
But damn, now it’s reached another level of greed, I didn’t even think it possible

@InfinityNikkiEN Right now, it’s hard to even say any magic in the game shimmers at all. The main storyline was great until the everlasting side content, and now the retcon?!
The constant bugs, the lag that got worse!!
I love the Star Sea dress, but that’s now how I envisioned it come into play..

@gyarunyun @faewishsprite Basically, the new intro for new players starts from the basis that everything from the old intro still happened in some way or another, but Nikki doesn’t remember it. The Seer mentions that not everyone and not all the time to people remember after a reset. Not a big fan of that
