The number of messages I have gotten from cisgender people who read Pamela Paul's article and were nearly swayed until reading mine easily debunking it is unreal.

I am glad I am able to fight back.

But I do NOT have the reach that the New York Times has to offer.

As far as I can see, no fascist group has actual community. It's all propped up by an intense paranoia and a constant vetting process where any action can get you booted if it appears you're not participating in the repetition of the myth.

Deeper fascists have to constantly remind themselves that it's the (((Jews))) and unruly blacks that are the source of the world's ills, this has to be done through deliberate ignorance of facts. Because facts are the enemy of fascist dogma.

This is true for just about every level of fascist. A typical conservative politicians talking point is that "Biden is taking your 2A rights!", not true but it's constantly repeated and is successful at getting support.

The more I've taken a deep dive into the fascist mind and "ideology", the more it seems that it all boils down to constant repetition of myth. If you're not constantly reminding yourself of your favorite flavor of fascist myth then the narrative breaks down.
