@geis_shane (2/2) they put a lot of money into advertising hellblade 2, which IMO was a mistake, because it's player base was already going to play it. I know GP numbers were bad, it jist feels like microsoft tried to make it something it wasn't, and Ninja Theory is the one getting axed😢

[𝐒𝐏𝐋𝐒𝐇 VP @_SPLSH_]

@geis_shane (1/2) Both hellblade games were niche. The second one even more so. I think they are great games, but they aren't for mainstream audiences and won't garner mainstream money, which sadly seems to be what microsoft was expecting

[𝐒𝐏𝐋𝐒𝐇 VP @_SPLSH_]

@astaranx @AsoboStudio I really hope "Senua" still gets released. I loved both hellblade games

[𝐒𝐏𝐋𝐒𝐇 VP @_SPLSH_]

@astaranx @AsoboStudio Asobo is fantastic. I love ninja theory, but I do think they could have learned a lot from asobo. The plague tale games are very cinematic, realistic and immersive, yet the player still has a great deal of agency and variation in what they can do, unlike HB.

[𝐒𝐏𝐋𝐒𝐇 VP @_SPLSH_]

@KindredBlade Very upsetting. I hate that microsoft was expecting mainstream money, from a niche game. Maddening

[𝐒𝐏𝐋𝐒𝐇 VP @_SPLSH_]

@510uBeezys @GermanStrands Yeah its definitely a niche, very popular amongst its base, but will never reach mainstream. I love it, but I hate the microsoft was expecting mainstream money from these titles, so now they're shutting it down😭 very frustrating

[𝐒𝐏𝐋𝐒𝐇 VP @_SPLSH_]

@yenthusiastx We really do! With the exception of netflix, are so spoiled!

[𝐒𝐏𝐋𝐒𝐇 VP @_SPLSH_]

@Tigertaco26 @theskizzleman (2/2) the fault lies with those who make threats, and leave hateful comments.

[𝐒𝐏𝐋𝐒𝐇 VP @_SPLSH_]

@Tigertaco26 @theskizzleman (1/2) They do not represent Skizz. Skizz encourages kindness allll the time. You cannot expect him to be responsible for every bad apple out there, when he himself is doing everything he can to cultivate a positive community.

@ein_giftzwerg @Chronus8 @CascadeIsFrozen A lot of the time those are also bots simply programmed to spew hate. They account for so much of the hate we see, yet so few ppl know its a thing. Which VASTLY changes are perception of how nasty ppl actually are. 9 times out of 10, social media makes things way worse than it is
