I had recently asked whether it is possible to bypass antivirus (AV) protections and achieve a reverse shell with just 20 lines of PowerShell code. Watch this clip to find the answer.

Defensive Perspective: The vulnerability does not lie within the security software itself but rather in the developer's capabilities and creativity in bypassing these protections. Therefore, it is essential to avoid executing files from unknown sources, as there are various ways to carry out such attacks.

Offensive Perspective: Yes, this type of attack can be detected and analyzed since I did not utilize encryption techniques or advanced stages like memory-based execution or code obfuscation. However, every attack requires careful planning and well-structured phases. This example is purely for educational and awareness purposes, nothing more.

Dropping a new initial access technique via RDP that I dubbed "Rogue RDP". Use malicious .RDP files to bypass email/servers/security gateways and then run code to binary plant/exfil from your own RDP server, blinding EDR. Bonus: Target runs HyperV? RCE! https://t.co/iMMS1pK0qs

-Early Bird APC injection.
-Process masquerading.
-Supports Named Pipes.
-Strings and function calls obfuscation.
- covert reload subroutine.
-Delay execution techniques.

This is a very interesting technique! I created two sigma rules to hunt/detect this activity. The registry rule might be more future-proof.
