For St. Bede day we talked about St. Bede’s important role in history and took a look at some St. Bede stained glass windows. RS were inspired to make their very own St. Bede stained glass window too!
RS loved our afternoon adventure to the allotment with Hedgehogs, planting seeds, finding leaves and toasting marshmallows - our year 4 partners were so helpful and kind!
In RS we have loved being silly, wearing red and raising money for Comic Relief this Red Nose Day - we learned all about why we wear red and what our money goes to help. 🙂
Grandma Swagg has been tracked down in her attempt to steal more toys! With the help of RS officers, the mystery of the missing Granny thief is solved but one thing is left unsolved - she says she hasn’t taken the shed toys! We questioned Grandma Swagg and she gave an evil laugh!
Have you seen this woman? Grandma Swagg is on the loose and has been caught on CCTV with a bag of goods, running off suspiciously down the Reception corridor 😖 RS are tracing her steps and the evidence left behind.
Reception enjoyed a visit to St. Bede church to find out “what is a church and why is it special?” We met Vicar Vinny, counted 23 crosses and saw a mock baptism. We had lots of fun learning about the church!
