Late 30s music fan mostly found running about the country going to gigs. Other times I will be found in Paisley drinking coffee.

@timeistheenemy Pitlochry is nice, lots of walks you can do from the wee town. I'm thinking about a trip to Bridge of Allan soon. There's also nice walks there I gather that take you up to Dunblane. Both day trip distance.
@_jxnesyy If you're keen on fake meats have you considered making your own with vital wheat gluten? It's 80% protein though you can add tofu/chickpea flour to the mix to get a better texture. It's a bit DIY but can be fun to experiment with.
@timeistheenemy Yeah, it's a big one. Always got the k-pop tunes on too. I always pop in when I'm in town, I usually grab an ice cup and juice pouch and some snacks as a minimum.
Any Manchester photographers happen to know if you need a pass to shoot at Rebellion? Kinda left it too late to sort anything for a gig and the one gig I shot there was a no barrier, shoot full show, thing so I'm thinking maybe OK?
I still have this. Awaiting moderation for a Twickets listing but if anyone wants in under face value lemme know.
Last night was really good. Doors half 7, finished at quarter to 11. Huge singalongs. 10/10 do recommend.
Anyone know if Tut's still do food? Can't see a menu online but I just sorta assumed they did. Alternatively any not too terrible coffee shops I can sit in for 2 hours between the office and a gig? Can't stay late and eat in the office as the cleaner comes in.
Thought I'd book my usual T-Lodge in Manchester on the way back from Trees to break up the journey. Usually £29.99 for one night.
It's the Sunday Oasis play Manchester.
£249 for one night.
I need a new itinerary.
@MoneySavingExp Lidl had packs of 12 mince pies for 20p today! They also had massive bags of lebkuchen for 20p (but with pork gelatine in so no good for those who don't eat that, sadly)
Can confirm mince pies were yummy.
I also need to find decent jeans, and by decent I mean will withstand repeated wear for years not weeks or months. Will pay £££ for the right ones. What brands should I be looking at?
I'm happy with repairing clothes but if they don't start with good fabric they're a lost cause.
Stressed as despite having loads of clothes I have basically 1 pair of trousers (technically 3, but one are summer zip offs and one are shell suit bottoms) but they are actually jeans and are looking saggy after a month of wear.
Where (physical shops) sells interesting stuff?
If anyone tried this fake tuna please let me know how bad it's gonna be. I got the regular and mayo sachets. I can't resist a random vegan product but not much online in English.
From Oseyo incase anyone's curious about it.
Coach driver counting heads before leaving Tebay and after some confusion realises we left someone behind in Manchester. Their coat is still on the coach. They are not.
