The Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye in Scotland really are a photographer's paradise. There are so many fantastic views with the layers and layers of waterfalls coming down from the Black Cuillin mountains 🏴.
All of the roads in the Faroe Islands are incredible to drive on, with views like this literally round every corner. Its hard to resist stopping every few hundred metres but some of the viewpoints are definitely worth it, much like this one on the way to Gasadalur 🇫🇴.
Did you know Iceland is estimated to have over 10,000 waterfalls, with only around 200 of them being named?
Of all of the waterfalls I came across, Hengifoss has to be one of the most unique with the red clay sandwiched between the rocks.
The one and only puffin we seen at Látrabjarg in the Westfjords of Iceland. Despite being known as a puffin haven, sitting at the most western point in Iceland, they must have all flown back out to see or been hiding when we were there.
Fresh from a short but sweet visit to the Isle of Skye at the weekend. After 3 attempts on past visits, the conditions were finally right for me to be able to get the drone in the air here and I couldn't be happier with the results 🏴.
Here is a bird's eye view of the powerful Dettifoss. It is the second most powerful waterfall in Europe and it is easy to see why when you get up close to it 😮.
Sigöldugljúfur, otherwise known as the valley of tears due to the many waterfalls, is a remote canyon on the F-road heading towards Landmannalaugar. The vivid blue water alone makes this an incredibly photogenic spot, but the waterfalls make it extra special.
Watching the wildlife at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon was one of the most peaceful moments of our trip. There were lots of different birds flying around the huge icebergs, along with seals quietly swimming around the lagoon 🇮🇸.
Forever seeking adventure.
The colour of the lakes in Myvatn was incredible. Due to the high level of volcanic activity in the area, there are many geothermal areas and crystal blue lakes to visit. This one, Viti Crater, was definitely a highlight for me 😍.
The highlight of my trip to iceland, getting to see Humpback Whales up close with @northsailing, setting off from the town of Húsavík. A true bucket list item ticked off in incredible fashion, albeit on a very foggy day near the arctic circle. https://t.co/pzekqp1BXV
An evening I won't forget from my trip to the Faroe Islands earlier this year. This location, the town of Gasadalur with its famous waterfall Múlafossur, has been a place I've wanted to visit for years.
