Reflect before you sleep

What deed did you do today that will benefit you in the Hereafter?

Allāhumma anfa’ni bima allamtani, wa’allimni ma yanfa’uni, wa zidni ilma.

O Allah, benefit me with what You have taught me, teach me what will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge.

Always strive for the highest ranks of goodness and closeness to Allah

اللهم اجعلني من أحسن عبادك نصيبا عندك في كل خير

Allahumma aj‘alnī min ahsani ibādika nasīban Indaka fī kulli khayr

O Allah, grant me among the greatest shares of every good that You bestow upon Your servant

Allah knows what your heart longs for before your lips ever ask. He knows the desires hidden deep within you. Yet, He gave you Du’a so you could turn to Him, pour out your heart, and taste the sweetness of speaking to the One who knows you better than you know yourself.

ربنا أفتح بيننا وبين قومنا بالخق وأنت خير الفاتحين

Rabbanaftah baynanā wa bayna qawminā bil-haqqi wa anta khayrul-fātihin.

Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, for You are the Best of those who judge.

Fill your home with the remembrance of Allah. A home where Allah is remembered is filled with tranquility, peace and blessings.

اللهم اغفر لي وارحمني واهدني وعافني وارزقني

Allahummaghfir lī, warhamnī, wahdinī, wa āfinī, warzuqnī.

O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, grant me well-being, and provide for me.

اللهم ربنا أنزل علينا مائدةً من السماء

- A reminder that all provision comes from Allah.

One of the most frequently recited Du’a of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) asking Allah for goodness in this life and the Hereafter.

ربنا اتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب النار

Rabbanā ātinā fid-dunyā hasanah wa fil-ākhirati hasanah wa qinā adhāban-nār.

After Fajr, don’t rush back to sleep. Take a few moments to nourish your soul

• Recite your morning adhkār.
• Make a sincere du’a.
• Read the Qur’an, even if it’s just a few verses.

A few minutes spent with Allah in the early morning can bring barakah to your entire day.

“And do not be like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves.” - Qur’an 59:19

لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين

Lā ilāha illā Anta, subhānaka innī kuntu minaz zālimīn.

NB: No distressed person recites it except that Allah relieves him.
