I would think they have something crazy planned to happen around that time to change peoples minds, they have been offered so much financial support for their candidates that they are not worried, or he knows there is nothing he can do at this point so he has just accepted it. Otherwise, it would be foolish to believe they will get the same kind of support this election cycle.

@bacchusplateau@emilyjashinsky@revenant_MMXX I used to love the show and watch it every day but I just can't anymore after seeing how one sided the whole thing has become. I see great two sided debates other places but BP will straight up omit facts or focus all their coverage one way.
My full story would take several pages to fill but:
1. Vegetarian (briefly), low fat high fibre, keto, and if it fits your macros (IFYM). I generally used IFYM for years with success until the 2020s and it stopped working to lose weight. It never fixed any chronic issues when I was at lower bf %.
2. I have had many issues for years. As a kid (4/5) my knee would lock up and I had issues with excess body fat even though I was in sports. My doctor told me I had sings of arthritis at 16. A quick summary of other issues throughout the years: chronic neck pain and frequent headaches, IBS, acid reflux, sleep issues, brain fog, joint issues all over (hips, knee, wrist, elbow etc), and gall bladder removal at 24.
3. I used over the counter nsaids, and Pepto Bismuth almost daily. My doctor never prescribed anything since all blood tests were good and I generally didn't like the idea of using daily medications after seeing my Dad go through many issues using doctor prescribed meds for years.
4. I lost a lot of weight really fast (56 lbs) and found I was never really hungry. I found the weight loss way easier (in my mid 30s) than when I was in my 20s being far more active using IFYM. It was also very apparent that when I broke carnivore and tried to add things that the weight came right back. Even when calories equated. And no, the previous weight loss didn't affect any of the chronic issues I have had for years.
Good luck everyone. Try the carnivore diet. I resisted for stupid reasons and lost years of feeling better because I just believed the dogma. God bless.
@emilyjashinsky@revenant_MMXX It is confusing considering Breaking Points is almost completely Liberal dominated in viewpoints and headlines. I miss the days when it felt more balance and had better debates.
