People keep debating the "humane" way to kill someone. It doesn't exist. Killing someone is, by definition, the opposite of humane. If we're going to have the death penalty, just pick a method that works reliably instead of doing whatever this is.

Why I believe most countries should take inspiration from the Norwegian prison system. Here the main focus is for people to do the inner work. Some people might get life sentences, but they are still treated as human beings while they’re in prison.

What kind of “inner work” are y’all expecting from women locked in cages all day, being raped and sexually harassed by male prison staff, being denied medical care, having to trade sex for menstrual products, only being allowed to bathe 1-3 times a week, being served rotten food, being denied mental health treatment, etc.

What she did was horrible, and she definitely deserved to be put in prison for her crimes. However, where I am from, death penalty is illegal. To me this is just another form of murder. It is way better to sentence someone for life, than murdering them.
