After a turbulent 12 months - the SWEET Project are back. Currently offering social work placements for first and final placement students with a variety of opportunities for learning. Lots of multi-agency work to look forward to over upcoming weeks

@IsabelleTrowler @FrontlineSW @thesweetproject have provided over 1200 placements for SW students during the last 9 years. SWEET are at the point of crisis and require immediate financial support. Funding given to Frontline could have secured the future of student learning and agencies such as ours.

Due to a funding crisis in local authorities and universities the organisation is facing closure. Without vital funding this creative and motivated social enterprise will face closure.

The Sweet Project – FACES CLOSURE
The Sweet project provides vital community services for vulnerable adults and families in crisis in South Birmingham. It has been running for 8 years with funding from local authorities and through training over 1000 trainee social workers.

THE SWEET PROJECT WILL CLOSE IF NOT FOR YOUR DONATION.
They provide support for vulnerable children in schools, nursing homes, families with domestic violence, social isolation and debt management, empowering people to take control of their lives.

Our Open Day has got off to a really good start. Many supporters have dropped in to say hello and new friends have also stopped by to introduce themselves and the fantastic services they provide.
