@IamStaplez @VirtualChrisDow @anabelle_dawn It’s a shame you didn’t like it. I never felt like anybody’s motivations were confusing, but I guess some stories click for some people and others don’t! That said, putting it down to “bad writing” is reductive when it’s evidently subjective

@JokerCritic I actually really liked that about it. Given the director, I think the choice to exercise restraint was deliberate, and helped evoke the tone of the older movies (which were violent but never gratuitous). Leaning away from gore means leaning more into dread, which Romulus nailed!
