The tow truck driver picked us up and dropped us off at a Perkins at the next exit (it was all that was open). The waitress told us she was a mom and was very concerned about us after being in a car accident so she took us to the hospital herself!!

Reminds me of the time me and my friend got in a car accident after she hit a deer, totaling her car in the middle of nowhere at 10pm. We had no idea where we were and no one remotely close to help us. Asked the state trooper to wait with us for the tow truck: “that’s not my job”

Most of the content in US History classes is fantasy or fictional literature. Time for me to unlearn what was taught to me in school and face the quite awful history that actually exists in this country. When history isn’t *accurately* taught, it is bound to repeat itself
