Six Shooters Multiple Cars Chicago Gang Hit ... Q50 Homicide ... 4200 block of S. Wentworth on September 13, 2026 @ appx 3:58 a.m. Chicago drill rapper BloodHound Q50 (born Mikquale Cooper) was shot and killed at the age of 22 during an early-morning ambush at a South Side gas station on Sunday, September 13, 2026 22-year-old male was in a vehicle when two vehicles pulled alongside and multiple offenders from each vehicle began firing at the victim who was seated in the driver’s seat. Both offending vehicles fled the scene. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and shoulder. He was treated by the CFD and was subsequently pronounced. Area One Detectives are investigating the incident (9th District) The attack occurred about 3:58 a.m. in the 4200 block of S. Wentworth Avenue in the 9th District, where Cooper was seated in the driver’s seat of a vehicle when two vehicles pulled alongside and multiple offenders from each vehicle opened fire, police said. Both vehicles then fled. Cooper suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and shoulder. Chicago Fire Department personnel treated him at the scene, where he was pronounced dead. Police radio traffic after the shooting indicated officers were dealing with multiple shooters and two suspected getaway vehicles. Responding officer’s flash message identified the vehicles as a black Acura four-door sedan and a silver Honda Accord. According to the transmission, there were six shooters total: four wearing all black with ski masks and gloves, and one described as wearing a green hoodie. Silver Honda was reported fleeing southbound onto the Dan Ryan Expressway at 43rd Street, while the Acura reportedly entered the expressway southbound at 47th Street. Radio traffic indicated the Honda appeared to have a license plate that officers could not read, while the Acura appeared to have no rear plate. Earlier transmissions referenced shots fired near 43rd and Wentworth and an ambulance responding for a person shot at the BP gas station. Officer reported the offender was no longer on scene before confirming a person had been shot and later describing Cooper’s wounds as to the left shoulder and upper chest. Circumstances described by police indicate a coordinated ambush, with multiple gunmen arriving in two vehicles, opening fire on Cooper as he sat behind the wheel, and then using separate routes to flee southbound toward the Dan Ryan Expressway. Legal Help Firm identified the victim as Mikquale Cooper and described the shooting as an ambush. No information concerning the offenders or offending vehicles was immediately released.
