understand yourself so their misconceptions of you don’t become your reality, understand yourself so their ideas of you don’t become your own, understand yourself deeply so that that no matter how much they misunderstand you your truth becomes impenetrable.
Grateful to have been a vessel of God's grace! Last year, my foundation covered WAEC fees for 10 students in my town. This year, my prayer is to double that impact, adding JAMB fees for less privileged students. Education should never be hindered by financial barriers.
when you're laying in your bed at night and all of a sudden you get hit by a wave of just pure loneliness and you be laying there rethinking your whole life
Lemme tell you how easy it is to create life long bad memories for your kids.
The other day a conversation about lipstick with my toddler reminded me how easy it is to cause damage to these little beings.
I'm starting to see why so many people struggle with love. More people are attached to their pride and ego than they are to building healthy long-lasting relationships. It doesn't matter who's in front of you if you don't fix whatever is going on inside of you that's causing you to ruin your every chance at real love. Healthy love exists. Honesty is a kindness. Transparency is the answer. Accountability is an act of love. Submission is the only way. Your trauma isn't an excuse. Vulnerability is unavoidable. Uncomfortable conversations are non-negotiable. Someone asking you to communicate better isn't a personal attack. Your toxic behaviours are not who you are. You aren't perfect. Mistakes are normal. Grace and forgiveness are necessary.
Crazy how peaceful life becomes when you stop arguing with those who fight their inner war through you, stop explaining yourself to those who are committed to misunderstanding you, stop shining your light on those who keep you in the dark, & stop expecting you from other people.
