I have attended so many funerals in my lifetime, and what I have observed is that in terms of logistics, those rich aunties and uncles are very Useless during those times.
You see that uncle and aunty you look down on because of their material status, they are the true blessing of families.
Take your babies everywhere. Restaurants, errands. Anywhere. Try not to stress if they cry, laugh loud, or babble. That’s what babies do. My son goes wherever I go. I’m not raising him to be silent in public. If people stare or get annoyed, they better stay in their lane.
Your baby belongs in the world just like anyone else. Normalize babies in public spaces. You're not a bother you’re parenting.
When I tell people I get up with my husband every morning at 4:30am to pack his lunch and make him a hot breakfast they asked me if his arms were broken so I don’t think they want to hear it.
Pets on furniture. You people are not wiping their feet EVERY TIME they come in from outside. You are not wiping their behinds EVERY TIME they poop or pee.
That is all over your bed, couch, rug, etc and it's disgusting.
