The documentary was a pleasant surprise.
Did not expect to get so much of Taehyung. The Mashable review was right. Taehyung is the warmest, brightest spot in any room. He's got so much EQ, instinctively understands what a person needs (saw it here with Joon and Jin), is a people's person, speaks thoughtfully, really LISTENS to others, can be a ball of energy and fun.
So much difference when outside directors and producers handle group projects, because they immediately realise Taehyung's potential, unlike the company who realise the same potential but choose to (try and) suppress it. Also, Taehyung is objectively gorgeous, and the director knew that and highlighted it so many times!

Remember the last Hybe made documentary of their hiatus? They showed Tae as a loner in his own apartment, whereas other members went out with friends, had filmed cosy dinners together and whatnot. I was so upset, because that was not the complete Taehyung at all.

This documentary showed us so many more part of Tae. The beloved public celebrity at MLB, the lovingly teased maknae of Wooga.

Also, I'm so seriously grateful to Wooga. That conversation shows how much they LISTEN to Taehyung. They asked questions about the album, they cared for his opinions. Love them!

And that second conversation with Bang? Lol, that was textbook corporate honcho manipulation. Saying something like "it's ultimately your decision" is just a sly way of pressurising others (because if you're really meaning that, you'd simply say, ok, since the majority of you are agreeing on having a shorter sample, let's choose that). Interesting that Tae wasn't in the room that day, because he had earlier on said the same as Hobi, Joon, Jk and Yoongi said.

But ofc Bang prevailed. And his deputy, that weird lady Nicole Kim, with her bionic clone insistence on "This is what Bang wants" gave me the icks.

Anyway, liked the live recording of Swim which ended the documentary (Taes backing vocals for Yoongi was a gem), though I agree with Tae, Swim isn't my favourite from the album, quite the opposite in fact. For several reasons.

Anyway, Netflix did a good job with this documentary. So, thank you @netflix
