Bucky’s mechanical arm was created by HYDRA after they recovered him from the fall and turned him into the Winter Soldier. The original arm was basically a weaponized prosthetic, later upgraded with Wakandan technology after T’Challa’s people helped remove HYDRA’s control over him.

And the star isn’t just decoration. It’s the Soviet/HYDRA-era Winter Soldier symbol associated with Bucky’s identity as their weapon.

Hydra didn’t need to steal the Tesseract immediately, they were playing the long game. Their biggest advantage was having people inside S.H.I.E.L.D., so they could monitor its movements, influence decisions and wait for the right opportunity. Taking it too early would’ve exposed the infiltration and blown years of work. The Tesseract was more valuable to Hydra as something they could eventually control from the inside than something they had to openly steal.

I don’t think Marvel is necessarily bad at creating young heroes. The problem is that the original Avengers had years to grow on us, develop their personalities, build rivalries, suffer losses, and actually earn their place as a team.

The newer generation is being introduced with huge expectations almost immediately, so every mistake or weak storyline feels bigger. It’s less that the young heroes are all flops and more that they’re being compared to characters Marvel spent over a decade making us care about.

The frog really looked at STORM, one of the most powerful mutants alive, and thought he was built for that fight. Storm can literally control the weather, summon lightning, manipulate wind and fly. Bro had absolutely no business thinking this was an easy matchup💀

G’iah became ridiculously powerful after absorbing the DNA of multiple superhumans, including the Avengers and beings like Thanos, Captain Marvel, and Hulk. But that doesn’t automatically make her the strongest being in the MCU. Her powers give her an enormous range of abilities, but raw power, experience, magical abilities, reality manipulation, and cosmic-level beings still complicate that ranking. She’s one of the most powerful characters we’ve seen, but “strongest in the MCU” is a much bigger claim.

The reason Iron Man kept holding onto the nuke is that simply throwing it before entering the portal wouldn’t guarantee it would actually reach the Chitauri mothership. The portal wasn’t just a doorway he could casually drop something through and assume it would follow his trajectory.

Tony needed to make sure the nuke crossed the portal with him and was delivered directly into the Chitauri ship. Once he was through, he released it toward the fleet and immediately turned back before the portal closed.

So yes, momentum would still matter, but Tony couldn’t safely rely on the nuke’s trajectory being preserved perfectly through the portal. He was basically making absolutely sure the payload went where it needed to go.
