Aegon's insistence that his dragon is still alive is completely canon. everything you did, she had already prepared:

- she sent Kratos and Atreus on the exact journey they needed to become who they had to be
- she stayed so hidden that the gods were still hunting her long after she was ashes
- and through all of it, she was never once playable. just a body on a pyre. a face in flashbacks.

Kratos didn't lead that saga. he followed it.
