Ricin is one of the deadliest poisons known. Tasteless, odourless, you wouldn’t even realise if it was mixed into your food or water.
Meet Dr. Ahmed Mohiuddin Syed, an MBBS from China. Using his medical knowledge, he had been extracting ricin from castor seeds for a long time to carry out what would have been one of the biggest mass poisonings in the world by mixing it in water and likely temple prasad in Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Lucknow.
He, along with two others, Mohd. Suhel and Azad, was arrested by the Gujarat ATS. They were in contact with ISIS handlers through Telegram. They were also in contact with Pakistani handlers who were dropping weapons for them through drones.
Another reminder that we don’t thank our anti-terror agencies enough. Their job is like that of a goalkeeper: you are noticed not for how many goals you save, but only for the ones you fail to stop. We will never know how many terror plots our agencies have foiled in the last decade. It must be many. There are so many radicals who want to harm us all the time, and yet we’ve seen mostly peace in civilian areas over the past decade. Hats off, and gratitude.
@dhruv_rathee Their Delhi LG himself accepted that 74% of Delhi pollution is only due to Delhi level only & state can handle.
So whats stopping Modi-BJP from handling it with 5-engine gov in Delhi & state govs in adajacent Haryana, UP, Rajasthan.
Bunch of liars & incompetents
@dhruv_rathee Rhea Chakraborty was chased by the mainstream media for straight 6 months.
But that same media living in Delhi NCR can't chase & ask questions to the environment minister of India.
His name is Bhupendar Yadav.
Air pollution is NOT a Delhi issue
Kejriwal couldn’t solve it, neither can Rekha Gupta because area wise, Delhi is less than 2% of North India.
- Stubble burning is happening in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh
- Coal power plants are operating, violating international standards in all these states
- Industries in all these states, all around Delhi are causing air pollution because Central Govt failed to enforce rules.
- Construction sites are violating norms everywhere.
- Vehicular pollution is coming from cars and old trucks which don’t follow the latest standards.
The only solution is to implement solutions at a central level. The prime minister and the environment minister need to meet with all CMs of these states and take action on all these points.
But what are they doing? Nothing.
They are absolutely silent.
The anger of the people should be directed at Narendra Modi, he is the biggest culprit here.
it's june 2019.
i have secured a rank of 1 lakh plus in my first Neet attempt.
my dad comes to my room and says,
"we have saved this much amount of money so you don't have to struggle."
i knew it was a lie, we couldn't afford this without loan.
and i felt like a total loser that day because my dad did the best he could to educate my sister and me.
but i didn't want to take a private seat and just walk on the red carpet.
i took a year off, this was a drop year.
that year changed me as a total person.
i went through lonely times, hardships, was confined to my room, covid hit.
but despite all that, i was convinced that i want to build something of my own.
and in the next year, i secured a okayish rank of 7,000 and got into my state college.
we could afford the private college seat of 1 crore plus by taking multiple loans.
looking back on this 6 years later, i'm proud of the fact that i took a year off, worked hard on myself and secured a seat on merit in a common medical college.
imagine if i had just taken the private college seat.
i would have never been able to build something of myself.
no real confidence, just papa ka paisa and would have lived under those terms.
i'm proud of the fact that despite of being able to take an easier route, i fought the hard way.
and it has shown in my personality, my growth and that is also a reason why i've been able to build a good following and start my own coaching business.
because i realized that if you are going to spend 1 crore plus on the simple mbbs seat, which today is not even worth a few lakhs, then you're making a terrible financial decision, at least for a middle class indian family.

Why do external examiners in vivas want men to shave their beards completely?
I understand unkempt facial hair, but what is the problem with well-groomed facial hairs? What is this objection?
I mean it's a very non issue-issue but I am curious about the reasoning
