Early in my programming journey I really went down the OOP rabbit hole. Studied the GoF Design Patterns, SOLID principles, the quirks of multiple inheritance in C++, and so on.

It's not a skill issue, it's an ecosystem problem that costs billions of dollars every year yet some people still defend it just to feel better than everyone else
